Default Turkey & Gnocchi Chowder

This is the improvised recipe I made with Easter's leftover turkey breast meat. Hubby made me write this one down as so many of my "inventions" are one time only specials!!! I cleaned out several packages from the freezer and cans from the pantry on this one!!!

6 cups chicken or turkey broth
1 - 15 oz. can of diced Italian tomatoes
1 - 10 oz. can of mild diced Rotel tomatoes (or spicy)
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 - 16 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli florets
1 - 12 or 16 oz. pkg. frozen garlic cauliflower (Birdseye brand)
3 cups of cooked turkey
1 - 24 oz. pkg. frozen gnocchi
1 tsp. poultry seasoning

Combine all ingredients in a 4 to 6 qt. dutch oven and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the gnocchi are tender, about 30-45 minutes.

Pea, tell your husband that I said thank you very much. I have never purchased frozen gnocchi, but I bet my grandkids would love this dish. Plus, it's a good way to get them to eat more veggies.
